All of our staff are Professional Members of the British Computer Society (MBCS), have completed the Ethical IT Professional course, and subscribe to the BCS Code of Conduct.
The BCS code of conduct sets out the professional and ethical standards that our members agree to maintain and promote. It defines the characteristics we share as practitioners responsible for developing the profession and realising our shared purpose of making IT good for society.

Service Desk Manager
Ash joined Macnamara as a 1st Line Support Technician with the goal to combine his two passions; computers and helping people. He brings extensive experience in retail management, as well as an eye for aesthetic detail from his degree in Fine Art. Customer service is always at the forefront of his approach to effective technical problem solving, as well as also being a pillar of the Service Desk team itself.
When Ash isn’t helping people on the Service Desk, he's working in his role in Risk and Incident Management for ISO27001, planning Risk Assessments, and exploring his keen interest in network configuration and management.

2nd Line Technical Support
Hubert joined the Macnamara team in 2022 as a 1st Line Support Technician, marking the start of his journey in the IT world. With a strong interest in programming, algorithms, and scripting, he quickly developed his skills and moved into a 2nd Line and Development role, where he continues to grow his technical expertise.
He enjoys tackling complex problems and helping others overcome their IT challenges, always approaching each task with curiosity and commitment. Alongside his scripting and automation skills, he is now exploring Artificial Intelligence and Azure services, areas that inspire his drive for innovation and continuous learning.
Hubert is a member of the Security Management Review Team maintaining the company’s ISO 27001 certification, focusing on Business Continuity Planning. His blend of technical ability, adaptability, and enthusiasm helps strengthen both his team and the wider organisation.

Technical Administrator
Alicia joined Macnamara with 5 previous years of IT support experience along with experience in a variety of other roles. Detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills, praised in her previous roles by management for being calm under pressure and be able to transmit this calmness to the people surrounding her, this experience led her to being appointed in the Technical Administrator role on the Service Desk.
Expect to hear Alicia on the phone and working on tickets along with everyone else, but is also assisting on business administration and ISO 27001 as Admin Support.
Alicia is a member of the Security Management Review Team maintaining the company’s ISO 27001 certification covering Document Control and Internal Audit.

1st Line Technical Support
Valentin joined Macnamara to combine a passion for technology with a love of problem-solving. He thrives on diagnosing and resolving issues while ensuring clear and friendly communication with users.
His curiosity extends to software engineering and coding, and he’s actively developing these skills with the goal of progressing into development roles.
Known for being an excellent communicator and a quick learner, Valentin brings adaptability and enthusiasm to every challenge.

Digital Sales & marketing Apprentice
Ivie joined Macnamara as a Digital Sales & Marketing Apprentice, bringing a passion for creativity and digital strategy. She is currently studying for a BSc in Digital Marketing and supports the team by enhancing the company’s online presence, creating engaging content, and driving lead generation through data-informed campaigns.
Ivie also contributes to SEO optimisation, updates to the company website, and targeted outreach across digital platforms.
Ivie’s work strengthens Macnamara’s brand visibility and ensures that marketing efforts are aligned with wider business objectives.
